I work for a small business and they were calling to offer a free 30 day trial for our business to be a featured business on Yahoo, Google and Bing. I was a little apprehensive about this offer, because I’m not one to really believe in “free 30 day trials”. I tried researching this company online to see what I could find, but haven’t located anything substantial. I asked the representative I was speaking to what the average ROI was for local businesses that used this 30 day free trial, and she went on to basically start from the beginning again from what I believe is a script she was given to use on the phone.

I was just wondering if anyone else had any further information about this company or if anyone else has received a similar call. I’m assuming it is similar to WebReach (Yellowpages), which I’m personally not a fan of the way Yellowpages does business.

Any information anyone possibly has, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

if possible could you give me a program name and manufacturer
i have asked in the shops but obviously they will not tell me as they want the business.

There has been a great deal of media focus on growth in the volume of policies sold via the internet (with no agent involvement) or via the phone to a call center. Insurance providers GEICO and Progessive are leaders in this method.

I am looking for actual data on what was sold in a recent year (2005, 2006, or 2007) using these direct methods, for the entire auto insurance industry.
